Frequently Asked QuestionsSeparate conditions apply to perfume orders. For Victorian Perfume FAQ, click here.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?Currently, processing takes 1 to 3 business days. Packages are shipped using USPS Priority, which will typically spend 1-3 days in transit after shipment. While we do our best to accommodate time-sensitive shipments, we cannot guarantee delivery on or by a certain day.
DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?We ship to most countries worldwide. If you are unable to check out due to your location, it is likely because scented candles are prohibited from import to your country. ***Please be aware that your package may be subject to VAT or customs duties before the package is released to you. Werther & Gray is not responsible for these additional charges.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT SERVICES?Yes! Please let us know if your order is a gift. Make sure your shipping address is correct if you want the item(s) sent directly to the recipient. Gift wrapping is available upon request. Orders marked as gifts will not include a packing slip.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Notification of intent to return must be submitted within 7 days of delivery, prior to return shipping. Used items are NOT eligible for returns or exchanges. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
WHAT KINDS OF MATERIALS DO YOU USE?Werther & Gray is committed to using parasoy wax for most candle products. Parasoy is non-toxic, biodegradable, vegan and blends the best properties of soy and paraffin while limiting the less desirable qualities of both. Parasoy offers the superior aesthetics and scent throw of paraffin as well as a cleaner and slower burn which is characteristic of soy.
To anyone who strongly prefers soy over paraffin, I highly recommend researching the issue (if you haven't already) to make an informed choice. In the rush to embrace soy, consumers gloss over or accept many myths about both soy and paraffin. The FAQs page of the National Candle Association website is a good place to start.
Wicks are coreless cotton for less soot and mushrooming. If your candle is smoking or sooting, move to a draft-free environment and trim the wick to 1/4 inch.
