As the nation continues to experience statewide shutdowns and shelter-in-place orders, maintaining normal operations here at Werther & Gray headquarters has become more challenging. Currently, two of our suppliers for glassware are delayed in fulfilling orders for us that were placed in February.
In mid-January we moved our production/shipping location and in advance of that we reduced inventory (and supplies) as much as possible to make the move easier. This put us in a vulnerable position, and it's looking like some of W&G's collections will sell out before we see an opportunity to restock. The Dark Series, Oddities, and Penny Dreadful are all at risk.
This is the situation right now, but as many of you reading this already know, things change on a daily basis, and there could be more disruptions to come. I will post further updates here, if that is the case.
Aside from the above, orders continue to ship as normal. I am considering the possibility of adding some new products to offset the lapse in availability of so many of our most popular candles. I'm also taking some time to generally reevaluate the path that Werther & Gray is on.

Werther & Gray is now operating out of my home, which means I am still shipping orders and abiding by Delaware's stay-at-home order.
To reduce direct contact with others, I have scheduled USPS pickups for Tuesdays and Thursdays only and I am not doing any drop-offs at the post office at all. Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat I am shipping only what will fit in my mailbox to be picked up by the mail carrier. Sometimes newer carriers are not familiar with the procedure for a pickup and they don't do it. This means that it may take longer for your order to ship. You may now also receive a notification that your order has shipped, but the shipment stays in "pre-transit" status for a day or two before it's picked up.
Orders that ship with UPS (which includes most orders that qualify for free shipping) will only ship on Mondays now as they require a trip out to a drop-off location, unless I have an inbound UPS shipment and can hand over a shipment to the driver.
